Meet the founder of Sporting Champs
Sonny black
Sporting Champs was founded in early 2023 by Sonny Black, a former professional football player for Crystal Palace.
His career started at Fulham football club at the age of 9 years old until 15, when he joined Crystal Palace and earned a scholarship and professional contract. Upon release from Crystal Palace - due to a multiple long term knee injury - he began playing semi-professionally and learning his craft in the coaching industry. this inspired Sonny to become a coach for Fulham foundation.
Fast forward, Sonny has a wealth of experience across a number of different projects, schools and teaching qualifications we have here at Sporting Champs

At Sporting Champs, we provide an exceptional sporting experience for children to learn, grow and excel. With our combined specialisms and teaching experience, we create an inclusive, diverse, exciting and challenging environment where children can develop their skills.
